I’m working so that my book will be finished by December 2012. That’s my goal.
What’s it about? *I thought you’d never ask!*
Premise: A browbeaten wife lands a job as a professional organizer and — while helping her clients declutter their external messes — has to find the courage to stand up to her narcissistic, controlling mother and the strength to declutter her own internal mess.
So if you are a big-shot publisher and you are thinking: “Wow, this girl’s got fashizzle! Let’s see that manuscript!” I am so here for you.

Just discovered your blog. Love it. Loved your post from “I survived the Mean Girls”. With 5 kids, teachers have been a part of our lives and dinner conversations for many years. Most good, some hard. Thanks for what you do.

That “Mean Girls” was a hard post, but so much good has come of it! And I just got your amazing email. Sounds like you have had your own stuff to handle. Will respond soon!

I just found you through Monkey Has Left The Building. I am a teacher of 33+ years. I teach fashion everything technical and business oriented with a life focusing twist. I keep Fashionnation1on1 at WordPress. I posted about you today and I hope it will be fine if we imagine your son as one of our customers for out “on paper” only line of boys clothing. I want my students to get to know your blog. Thanks, Trish

Dear Fashionnation1on1:
I am flattered, and of course you can “imagine” my Monkey… I mean Tech Support as one of your customers. He suddenly cares about clothes, too. So many changes all at once.

Oh, may I add… I want my students to get to know your blog because you have a fabulous perspective on life and a great writing style to support it.

Why thank you, darling. Sometimes I’m a little naughty.
You should know that.

God I wish I was an editor right now. I’d gobble you up in a heartbeat. Instead, I’m passing your writing on to everyone I know. I love your writing. I’m sitting here in front of my computer screen laughing out loud with you. Thanks for sharing your “Mean Girls” post…what a brave, fantastic thing to share. Love it, and love your writing. Keep it cranking.

Dear Christine:
Thank you so much for your kind words. I would so love to be gobbled.
That “Mean Girls” post was really scary, but also liberating. I’ve been in contact with a lot of people since it went live, and that has been quite the experience. I just came over to your place, and will return to leave a comment. Thanks for taking the time to say hello.
